Government and Institutional Development

What the Programme Does

The Governance and Institutional Development programme provides CSPR an opportunity to strengthen the governance and management structures. It develops and implements various administrative and financial policies. It facilitates human resources development for staff and the general membership. Provincial structures are strengthened to play a greater role in planning and implementation. Membership selection criteria are well streamlined to ensure that only those organizations that meet the set standards are admitted to CSPR. Resource mobilization is conducted as well as development of sustainability measures for the organization. It also facilitates regular monitoring and evaluation of the work of CSPR including preparation of periodic financial and narrative reports for consideration by the Board of Directors and cooperating partners.
